WOMAN

THE COMPLETENESS OF CREATION

(Gen. 2:21‑23, Jer.29:11‑13)

From the beginning of time, I was chosen. I was taken from his side . . .NOT  from his feet. I was created to be his helper and not his servant. From then until now . . . I have followed behind . . . never being by his side but behind him, at his feet and often . . . beneath his feet. NO MORE!!!

I now realize that the Lord gave him ME to make him complete which means without me . . . he is really not him. I am unique . . . I am important . . . I am strong . . . and the same creative forces that God possesses are within me. I realize, now, that I can change things around me and if I am in a mediocre situation it’s not God’s fault, its not society’s fault . . . because I have the ability to change it.

No longer will I look at myself and not be pleased, for I know that God made me for a purpose . . . with a plan . . . and a destiny. He knew what He was doing. So now . . . instead of trying to find my completeness in pleasing a man, in the pursuit of acceptance by others, or the acquisition of “things” . . . I will find my completeness in God. In understanding God, my creator, I will find myself and in finding, loving, and respecting myself I will be a better blessing to others.
