Serena Williams has won the Australian Open by beating her sister, Venus Williams, in straight sets 6-4, 6-4 in the final. This is the second time Serena has defeated her sister in the tournament in her quest for championship wins!!!
Serena Williams has her 23rd Grand Slam singles title overall, giving her the most of any woman in the Open Era passing Steffi Graf, who had 22.
