In a move that will certainly not be pleasing to the Republicans who have railed against President Obama’s health care reform law from the day he signed the bill, the U S Supreme Court has upheld the law in it’s entirety, including the individual mandate which was the biggest part of the legislation that drew opposition from the President’s rivals.

While the ruling provides wind for the President’s sails, it will almost certainly infuriate those who had hoped for a different outcome after having accused the Presideent of violating the constitution in the construction of this law. That argument no longer exists for Republicans, who continue to talk about repealing the law should Republican Presidential candidate Mitt Romney win the election in November.
