Well in my opinion they gave a lot of credit to Lauryn Hill for being one of the illest MC’s and if she stayed in the game, things would be a lot different. Now MC Lyte is my favorite rapper period and I like Lauryn….. but does she deserve all this credit? The day before the TV show aired, Lauryn performed at the “Rock the Bells” concert in DC and I could not wait to see what the reviews were. Well as we all figured…. they were not good.
