The Christopher Wallace Memorial Foundation announced that the Brooklyn street renaming ceremony in his honor will happen in June. The campaign to rename the block where Biggie grew up took a long time to happen, but in December things changed when officials gave the green light to the campaign.
The ceremony’s official date for the renaming of St James Place between Gates Avenue an Fulton Street is June 10.
What was it about Biggie that you think people loved so much? What person in your community deserves a street named after them?
