In closing arguments, Bill Cosby’s lawyers urged a jury to acquit the 80-year-old comedian of sexual assault charges because they were based on “flimsy, silly, ridiculous evidence,” and that chief accuser Andrea Constand was a “pathological liar” who consented to a sexual encounter at Cosby’s home.
