LaVar Ball grabbed major headlines when his President Trump wanted him to give thanks for the release of his Son over theft incident in China. Ball adamantly refused to thank President Trump and was dragged though the mud by CNN for being ungrateful.
According to a new ESPN report, LiAngelo Ball and other players were never on house arrest, the team decided to keep players in their hotel rooms and the charges were dropped, NOT reduced. The biggest takeaway is that all of these things happened two days before the press broke the story and before President Trump and General Kelly were involved.
Looks like our government had nothing to do with this incident at all.
