Poverty, lack of resources, and joblessness…what can we do? COMMUNITY, CAN WE TALK? Let the Richmond community speak about it on the 4th Annual MLK Community Day Jan 15th, 12p-2p at the Celebration Church & Outreach Ministry 5501 Midlothian Turnpike. It’s time to allow the community to speak while community leaders, activists, and law enforcement LISTEN. Bring your concerns and we’ll focus on solutions. Calling all teens, young adults, parents, and citizens victimized by crime to SPEAK. Talk up as we listen up! Special guests include Richmond Police Chief Alfred Durham, spoken word by Zbey, Virginia Parole Board Chairman Adrianne Bennett, dance performance by Kings & Queens Dance Academy and recently paroled Paul Taylor.

Brought to you by Rolling For Freedom-R4F, Project Give Back to Community, MAYA Foundation, and Radio One Richmond. This is a free event for the folks who are tired of crime in community #MLKCommunityDay
