Last night, the 595th episode of “The Simpsons” made television history by going live in the last few minutes with Homer actually talking to live callers.

The incredible thing was that Homer looked like he was actually talking to these live viewers who were calling in with random questions.

The amazing segment was made possible with something called Motion Capture Technology, which tracks the real-time head and arm movements of the voice actor as he speaks to callers and immediately animates the character on air.
