Batman v Superman

Batman vs. Superman seems to be mixed bag of feelings when it comes box office numbers. While it’s listed as the no. 10 highest grossing superhero movie of all-time, it feels like critics haven’t been too impressed with the $863 million it grossed.

“Since BvS‘ launch in late March, there’s been plenty of debate about the movie’s performance, and its steep drop-off following a record-breaking opening of $166 million domestically, a best for the month of March.”

Warner Bros., though, is happy with how its performed. They feel it’s a ” fantastic result, by any measure.”

The Ghostbusters reboot has been plagued by sexism since it was made public four women would be the main characters. Some are wondering if the movie might be in trouble before its release.

“At time of writing, the official Sony upload of the movie’s trailer has 624,461 thumbs-down votes, based on 29,906,237 views. That’s one thumbs-down vote for every 47.9 views, which would be an impressive number if it reflects a genuine dislike on behalf of all viewers — but what, exactly, suggests that it is genuine?”

It’s hard to know if the dislike is an actual dislike for the movie or the result of online trolls. As it stands, Sony intends to keep its release date so answers to this question will be found sooner than later.

As the days go by and investigators try to figure out the cause of Prince’s death, Arsenio Hall found himself in the crossfire. Sinead O’Connor took to Twitter and accused Arsenio Hall as the supplier of Prince’s drugs.

“Two words for the DEA investigating where prince got his drugs over the decades…. Arsenio Hall (AKA Prince’s and Eddie Murphy’s bitch) Anyone imagining prince was not a long time hard drug user is living in cloud cuckoo land. Arsenio I’ve reported you to the Carver County Sherrif’s office. Expect their call. They are aware you spiked me years ago at Eddie murphy’s house. You best get tidying your man cave.”

Arsenio’s rep, Traci Harper, said Sinead’s comment was “is absolutely false, ridiculous and absurd.”
