The family of Marvin Gaye celebrated a huge court win for millions after suing Robin Thicke and Pharrell Williams over the “Blurred Lines” song sounding like Gaye’s “Got To Give It Up,” but a judge has denied the family’s request to have Thicke and Williams pay their lawyer fees.

Back in March 2015, a jury sided with the Gaye family and the judge awarded them $7.4 million. According to the Hollywood Reporter, U.S. District Court judge John A. Kronstadt ruled Tuesday that he would not award legal fees to Marvin Gaye’s heirs.
