Three explosions ripped through capital of Brussels today killing 28 and injuring as many as 170. The attack began around 8 a.m. with explosions at the Brussels Airport  then around one hour later at the Maelbeek subway station.

The attack came just days after authorities arrested Salah Abdeslam who is believed to be the sole survivor of the 10 men who were directly involved in the Paris attacks.

Americans in Europe have been put on high alert to be prepared for future attacks that may have been planned.
