The city of Baltimore is in need of a huge healing after the shocking death of Freddie Gray while in police custody.
Six officers have been charged in the death of Freddie Gray and and before the case has even been heard, the city of Baltimore has settled a $6.4 million lawsuit with the Gray family.
Mayor Stephanie Rawlings says this act brings some closure to the Gray family but the move has the police union at odds with city officials on timing and how a fair trial can be accomplished for the officers when this settlement somehow supports the guilt of the officers and the city.
All six officers will stand trial separately.
