There’s a major investigation into the slaughter of Cecil the Lion and Zimbabwe want the killer to be extradited from the U.S. to stand charges for killing beloved and protected animal.
Walter Palmer, a Minnesota dentist, allegedly paid $50,000 to hunt down and kill the lion. This particular lion was lured from a protected area, killed, skinned and tracking device removal was attempted.
Palmer has not been seen or heard from since July 28th.
