A Detroit area doctor who treated patients with cancer treatment drugs unnecessarily , some who didn’t even have cancer, was sentenced to 45 years in prison.
50 yr-old Dr. Farid Fata gave chemo to healthy people and plead guilty to 13 counts of medicare fraud, two counts of money laundering and 1 count of conspiracy to receive kickbacks.
