In an early morning accident, a cyclist was struck and dragged by an SUV at the intersection of Monument Ave. and N. Mulberry St. in the Fan.
The SUV driver, allegedly blinded by the sun, struck the cyclist and dragged her 15 feet into the middle of Monument Ave. leaving pieces of her shattered helmet everywhere. Witness helped lift the SUV off of the victim who is now in serious condition.
