The Richmond International Airport was evacuated early Tuesday after receiving a phone threat.
The threat was called in between 6 am and 6:15 am. Passengers were evacuated around 6:30 am.
The threat received was considered dangerous enough for evacuation. Although the type of threat has not been detailed, it is believed to have been a bomb threat.
A K-9 team is currently conducting an intensive search of the terminal, with assistance from local and federal agencies.
