Pop superstar Whitney Houston took her final flight home to Newark, Nj where she will be laid to rest. The 48-year-old singer died in Los Angeles on Saturday for reasons so far unknown as officials await the results of Houston’s toxicology report. The City of Newark was already prepared to receive their world famous daughter with a huge electronic portrait of Whitney outside the Prudential Center, Newark’s 18,00-seat arena, where it was originally thought her funeral would be held.her funeral services will be held. The family has since announced that Whitney’s funeral will be Saturday at her home church, New Hope Baptist, where Whitney Houston began singing.
