Rapper 50 Cent will star in a new action thriller film “The Pursuit,” produced by 50’s company Cheetah Vision Films.
The film centers around a cop and a criminal, who are teamed together by accident in pursuit of a bank robber who has crossed both men.
During the film, a U.S. Marshal hunts both men to prevent them from killing the escaped robber before he is brought back to justice.
50 Cent seems to be taking a page from the playbook of actor Steven Segal, who produced many of his own films.
“The Pursuit” is slated to begin production February 15th in Louisiana, is one of nine films 50’s Cheetah Vision will produce this year, and one of the ten that will be distributed under a deal with Lionsgate.
