While the media may be disappointed, Sarah Palin has finally announced what most knew all along, that she had no intention of getting into the 2012 Presidential race. With GOP candidates Michelle Bachmann and Rick Perry basically sucking-up all of the Tea Party power, Palin was essentially left out in the cold. With Herman Cain moving up in the Republican polling and Mitt Romney still far ahead of the field, there is no where for Palin to fit into the overcrowded GOP. Palin said in her announcement that she plans to focus her energy on helping to get Republicans elected to control the House and the Senate, and to back the eventual Republican nominee. Gotta give Palin credit, she has miked the public for every dollar she could, knowing all the while she had no real plans to run. In fact, there were factions within the party praying that she wouldn’t get into the race and divide the primary voters.
