As a Virginia State University alum and a media ambassador to my alma mater, I wholeheartedly welcome Dr. Keith T. Miller as the 13th President of our great institution. Having met with the President several times, I’m proud to say that he’s the perfect person to continue the growth and development of the school and it’s students, and he will be a major asset in reviving the community relationships with VSU, which has eroded some over the years. I was also inspired by Dr. Miller, who spoke for the Men’s Day celebration at Gillfield Baptist Church in Petersburg last Sunday. We wish you the very best and much success in carrying Virginia State on to bigger and better things in the future. I’m sure I speak for all alumni in that regard………
