UConn Women Fall, Moore Ends Amazing Career

The two-time defending national champion UConn Lady Huskies were dethroned last night by Notre Dame in the Women’s Final Four, ending the amazing four-year collegiate career of All-American Maya Moore. She leaves as the NCAA’s fourth leading all-time scorer and finished last night’s game with 36 points, and led the Huskies to an NCAA record 78 consecutive wins. Notre Dame will play Texas A & M for the national championship.
