Male model Gabriel Aubry is seeking thousands of dollars from his ex-girlfriend Halle Berry to pay for an expensive new home, clothes for their daughter and other expenses, according to a new report.

Aubry, who dated Halle from 2005 to 2010, filed legal documents asking a judge to her to pay $15,000 to $20,000 a month for a new home, according to the gossip website TMZ.

Gabriel, 36, says he wants the couple’s daughter, 3-year-old Nahla, to be able to live in the expensive surroundings she is used to.

Aubry also wants Berry to pay for trips to Canada, so he can take Nahla to visit his family, and cash so he can buy her new clothes.

A hearing on the matter was rescheduled for April 9 and Halle Berry is said to be fighting the request.

The former couple has been embroiled in a bitter custody battle since an alleged argument between Aubry and Nahla’s nanny in January.

Halle Berry wanted a court order blocking Gabriel Aubry from having contact with their daughter following accusations he assaulted nanny Alliance Kamdem while she held Nahla. Berry also claimed Aubry repeatedly yelled and cursed at Kamdem in the presence of the child.

A judge dismissed the request citing lack of evidence and recommended that Berry and Aubry keep joint custody of their daughter and take parenting classes.

Last month, Halle Berry, 45, filed a court petition requesting permission to move to France, furthering rumors she is engaged to her current boyfriend, French actor Olivier Martinez.

The court is still waiting to see how the judge rules on Aubry’s custody rights. The decision will likely impact child support.
