This year there are also quite a few new additions to the festival.
*Venture Richmond is offering free Guided Walking Tours. Richmond favorite, Gary Flowers, who has a four-generation family connection to Historic Jackson Ward, will lead the tours.
*A “Renaissance Roll Call” will be conducted for current members – as well as people whose families were members – of organizations such as the Astoria Beneficial Club, the Order of the Eastern Star, the Independent Order of St. Luke, Independent Order of the True Reformers, Historic churches in Jackson Ward and many more.
*Art on Wheels sponsors the Community Cubes Project. In this installation, a cube bench will be crafted from everyday items that people carry around with them.
