Ever since Michael Strahan surprised the world and announced that he was leaving the “Kelly & Michael” show for full-time status on “Good Morning america,” it has been nothing but drama on and off the set.
Kelly Ripa refused to be present for the announcement and didn’t return to the show for a few days. Rumors ran rampant that Kelly and Michael really disliked each other and now Strahan is exiting the show May 13th, a drastically earlier than the projected September date.
Ripa tells “People” magazine that the search for a new co-host needs to start now so she can narrow down her list before the summer break.
