“The People vs. OJ Simpson” premiered on FX last night and the critics are busy pointing out the “right and wrongs” of the highly anticipated show.
Kato Kaelin, played by actor Billy Magnussen, points out several discrepancies in the first episode which has him wondering what else in the rest of the show they will misrepresent.

Cuba Gooding Jr. plays OJ Simpson and refused to visit O.J. while locked up and admitted:
“I have a lot of friends and family who are incarcerated, and I know what that jail cell does to your psyche. I didn’t want him to take me into that frame of mind. He was the O.J. Simpson who everyone loved — not just an athlete, but a movie star — and in that cage, he’s a broken man. Now, if I did a movie about O.J. Simpson in jail, I would do everything I could to sit with him and get into his mindset today; but I wanted to understand who he was when this crime happened.”
I must admit, after watching the show last night, I had many questions in my head and I found myself wondering if OJ did it or not!!! The show is dark and it shows the personal stories of the participants and those connected…which is something most people forgot about because of the focus on O.J..
I’m hooked, and I will be watching!!!
