Lafayette, Louisiana is the latest city to experience senseless violence at the hands of a gunman.
As patrons sat in a packed movie theater, 20 minutes into watching the new movie “Train Wreck,” 59 yr-old John Russel Houser opened fire on the crowd, killing 2 and injuring 9 people.
Police arrived at the theater in just minutes after 911 calls, and upon entering the scene, Houser shot and killed himself. Wigs, disguises were found in his room and changed license plates on his car parked outside of an exit was discovered, implying that he had planned on escaping and not taking his own life.
A motive for this senseless act of violence has not been discovered yet.
