Court is now in session in the family of Marvin Gaye vs. Robin Thicke and Pharrell Williams over the similarity of songs “Blurred Lines” and “Got To Give It Up” and whether Thicke infringed on the copyrights of Gayes’ family.
Thicke played his testimony on a keyboard while playing songs that sound similar to other hit songs but did not constitute plagiarism. Smart move, but we will see if it had any effect on the judge.
