In a classic case of bah humbug, Target is notifying the public that over 40 million credit and debit cards’ info have been hacked.
This massive theft is said to have startedjust before “Black Friday” and continued up until last week….may involve every Target store in the U.S..
The stolen data includes credit and debit card numbers, customer names, card expiration dates and the three-digit security codes on the backs of cards but did not affect online purchases.
If you shopped at a local Target between Nov. 27th thru Dec. 15th and used your debit or credit card, please talk with your bank and credit card company to monitor any suspicious activity on your accounts.
