A Virginia woman is being held by police for mental evaluation after she assaulted three people at the YMCA, biting one in the face.
Until she’s formally charged, the police will not release her identity.
The woman, 34, was found naked and on the roof of the YMCA building, threatening to jump off. When she was coaxed down and came inside, she bit a 54-year-old worker in the face. She then went on to assault two other people, one of which was a 9-year-old girl.
The woman and her victims are being treated at a Newport News hospital.
