The defending world champion Miami Heat, who are battling the Indiana Pacers in the Eastern Finals, amd surely the Heat had hoped to win Game 4 at Indianapolis so they could have closed out the series at home on Thursday in Game 5.  Instead, like the Jackson 5, Miami’s “Goin Back To Indiana” for a Saturday Game 6, and needless to say, the Pacers have their backs against the wall after the Heat ran away with Thursday’s tilt to take a commanding 3 – 2 lead in the series.  There’s only one question remaining for Indiana, can they respond at home to a pressure-packed situation facing elimination.  LaBron James had his way in Game 5 with 30 points, 8 rebounds, and 6 assists.  If Indiana hopes to return to South Beach, that cannot be allowed………

The San Antonio Spurs again have proven time and time again that no matter the circumstances, this team knows how to win, and knows how to close out an opponent.   Been there, done that.   Going into Game 4 down 3 – 0,  the Memphis Grizzlies already had a tall task in battling the Spurs, clearly a team that is no stranger to these NBA Playoffs.   Monday night in Memphis, they had no answer for Tony Parker, and even if Elvis WAS in the building, that still wouldn’t have stopped Fan Antonio from sweeping the Griz and moving on to the NBA Finals to face either Miami or Indiana.   NBA history was not on Memphis’ side because no team has ever recovered from a 3 – 0 deficit, and with no one to consistently put the ball in the basket, that job is twice as difficult.  Spurs win the 2013 Western Conference title!
