Who among us WWE wrestling fans of the 90’s could forget the creepy and ghostly look of Paul Bearer, who made his stint as manager of his protege’, the superstar wrestler known as the “UnderTaker” look and feel almost real during their many years of ruling the old World Wrestling Federation. The portly Bearer wasn’t exactly the funeral director you would prefer to run into, but no sidekick manager in professional wrestling ever had a stronger visual presence as he strolled the ring carrying the ashes of some poor wrestler who dared to challenge ” The UnderTaker”.
Paul Bearer, whose real name was William Alvin Moody, passed away on Tuesday in Alabama at age 58. He still played the role of Paul Bearer as recently as last year, ending a 20 – year run in the arena of pro wrestling.
