TMZ reports that Mike Epps personally reached out to Richard Pryor’s widow before agreeing to play the comic legend in a new movie. This proves to be one of his greatest moves because Jennifer Pryor was so pleased with the gesture that she wants Epps to play her late husband in the Richard Pryor biopic slated for a future date.
Many comedians have been considered for the Pryor biopic but one that Jennifer is hell bent against is Eddie Murphy. Jennifer states “Having Eddie Murphy play Richard Pryor would be like having Al Jolson play Malcolm X.” Ouch!!!
