I’m Miss Community Clooovia, a true race fan. NASCAR opens the 2012 season this weekend with the Daytona 500. Lenny Kravitz will perform at the Daytona pre-race show. Kravitz has sold 35 million albums nationwide and is the only black artist to win a Grammy for best male vocals in rock music four times consecutively.

My Rich History Fact: Wendell Scott of Danville, Virginia was the only black driver to win a race in NASCAR’s top series. Scott won the race at the Jacksonville Speedway Park in 1963.
