The NBA lock-out may be costing the league millions of dollars, but to some of the brighter stars with name recognition, it’s been a supplemental blessing financially, considering the players are temporarily unemployed.  The latest baller with NBA All-Star credentials to promote his own pro basketball event is Hampton native Allen Iverson, who’s hosting his own 2-day event in Las Vegas on November 12th & 13th.  Iverson will hold a press conference on Wednesday to release more details on the four-team tournament featuring many current and former NBA players.  Iverson, who starred for years in Philadelphia, winning the NBA’s Most Valuable Player award in 2001, has since moved on to play in Turkey.
