Virginia State University has cancelled its class schedule for the remainder of this week with classes resuming on Tuesday, September 6th. The Appomattox Regional Governor’s School in Petersburg will be closed on Tuesday, as well as public schools in Charles City County, Chesterfield County, Dinwiddie County, Colonial Heights City, Henrico County, Hanover County, Hopewell City, King William County, King & Queen County, Northumberland County, Petersburg City, & Richmond City Schools. Among the area’s Private Schools, Riverside School, St. Andrew’s, Collegiate School, All Saints Catholic School, and thew Landmark Christian School are all closed on Tuesday. Among the colleges, John Tyler CC, J. Sargeant CC, and the College of William & Mary will all be closed tomorrow. Richard Bland College in Petersburg will be closed through Wednesday.
