To say the Virginia State University Trojans basketball team was having a bad year would be polite. VSU has won only one game, a 65-52 victory over Pfeiffer in the season opener back on November 15th.  Since then, State has lost a school record 13 straight games.  On Thursday, VSU decided to make a coaching change, removing George White as Head Coach after a season and a half on the Hill.  White won only 8 of 41 games and was re-assigned to another position at the university while VSU Tennis Coach Gene Thompson will step in as Interim Head Coach of the Men’s basketball team.  The Trojans will entertain St. Paul’s College on Saturday at Daniel Gymnasium.
