The crowning of Hampton University’s first white Miss HU on Friday caused an uproar on campus, which prompted the winner to write a letter to President Obama.
Miss HU Nikole Churchill, a senior nursing major at the Virginia Beach campus, wrote to invite Obama to speak on campus about racial tolerance.
