The hip-hop community is speaking out and sending their condolences to the family of Bushwick Bill who passed away over the weekend. Busta Rhymes, Snoop Dogg, and Biz Markie are just a few of the names who’ve sent out kind works about the Geto Boys member and hip-hop legend.
“Thank you for always being a very real and genuine friend King,” said Busta Rhymes in an Instagram post. “Rest well Big Bro.” Snoop called Bill “one of the most intelligent brothers he’s ever met in the world,” and Biz Markie shared the sentiment of many who loved Bill and his music by saying, “you’ll be missed.”
Bushwick Bill passed away at 52 after a battle with pancreatic cancer.
