Chicago bears legend Mike Ditka, who has been a critic of NFL players kneeling during the national anthem to protest racial discrimination, said Monday during a national radio interview:
“All of a sudden, it’s become a big deal now, about oppression,there has been no oppression in the last 100 years that I know of. Now maybe I’m not watching it as carefully as other people.”
Mike Ditka must have been asleep during the civil rights movement. SMH
