VCU player Mo Alie-Cox remained confident that his name and reputation would be cleared after being accused of assault at a local bar in Richmond.
Prosecuters had brought assault and battery charges against Cox after a woman alleged that he punched her in the face at Society nightclub in Shockoe Slip on April 3rd.
All charges have been dropped after a video of the incident surfaced showing Cox had his back to the fight that erupted and was not near the accuser at all.
