Republican Ed Gillespie is celebrating his victory at last weekend’s Republican Party of Virginia 2014 Convention in the battle for his party’s senate race nomination. Gillespie’s win sets up a high-profile campaign against Democratic Senator Mark Warner. Less than 90-minutes after the polls opened, Shak Hill conceded the nomination to Gillespie.
