In recent times, there are more and more athletes braving the waters and coming out as being gay, despite the possible backlash.
This time, the WWE is front and center with wrestler Darren Young admitting that he is gay while being active in the pro sport.
In the video below, a cameraman asked the wrestler if he thought a gay wrestler could be successful in WWE, and Young gave an unexpected answer.
“Absolutely. Look at me. I’m a WWE superstar and to be honest with you, I’ll tell you right now, I’m gay. And I’m happy. I’m very happy.”
