An investigation is looking into Hernandez’s potential involvement in a 2012 double homicide in Boston.
Officials have stated that investigators believe Lloyd may have had information revealing a role Hernandez played in the double homicide.
It’s been revealed that Lloyd sent a series of texts in his final minutes, according to the Associated Press
These texts hinted at who Lloyd was with. Just minutes after these texts were sent, Lloyd would be dead because, according to the prosecutor, Hernandez found Lloyd talking to the wrong people.
Hernandez was charged with murder and, if convicted, could face life in prison.
