There are two contenders in the Virginia governor’s race for 2013 Democrat Terry McAuliffe and Republican Ken Cuccinelli. Cuccinelli is currently the Attorney General for Virginia and will not seek a second term only to run for governor. Terry McAuliffe is a businessman, entreprenuer and former chairman of the Democratic National Committee.
The Republican candidate for lieutenant governor is Bishop E.W. Jackson and the candidate for Attorney General is State Senator Mark Obenshain.
The Democratic candidate for lieutenant governor is State Senator Ralph Northam.
The Democratic candidate for attorney general is State Senator Mark Herring.
