President Barack Obama has just returned from a long weekend with his family to host two events at the White House on the 4th of July. This morning President Obama will deliver the address at a naturalization ceremony for active duty service members in the East Room.
President Obama has hosted similar naturalization ceremonies at the White House on May 1, 2009 and April 2010 reports the White House. Secretary of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano will deliver the “oath of allegiance” says the White House.
During the evening, the president and first lady will enjoy barbecue and fireworks from the South Lawn of the White House with special guests military heroes and their families.
