African American women are the fastest growing population of Americans inflicted with heart disease. It is our pleasure, our duty & our honor along with Bon Secours clinicians and Councilwoman Cynthia Newbille to visit Richmond’s East End hair salons to promote heart health awareness with free screenings and on-site information about how to prevent heart disease in all of us not just during the month of February (American Heart Month), but throughout the entire year.
It all starts right here with each of us and each of you. Here’s what you got if you stopped by to support the movement with us. Be sure to check out our exclusive interviews listed below as well as we discuss the benefits of our mission to help you look good and feel good inside and out.
