Politcal insiders are calling Rick Santorum’s win in the Colorado and Minnesota caucuses a clean sweep. Santorum also won the non-binding primary in Missouri.
Mitt Romney the GOP frontrunner for the Florida and New Hampshire primaries was winless Tuesday. He congratulated Santorum on his win.
Minnesota caucuses: Rick Santorum won 45% of the votes to Ron Paul’s 27% and Mitt Romney’s 17%
Colorado caucuses: Rick Santorum won 40% of the votes to Mitt Romney’s 35% and Newt Gingrich’s 13%
Missouri primary: Rick Santorum won 55% of the votes to Mitt Romney’s 25% and Ron Paul’s 12%
Mitt Romney is looking to rebound for the Michigan and Arizona primaries later this month. Newt Gingrich and Ron Paul will reload to win the presidential nomination in August. Rick Santorum will continue to revive his conservatism stance on government and the American people. He said, “conservatism is alive and well.”
