Millions of rabid fans aren’t the only ones who want to see Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie get married. The couple’s kids are also putting on the pressure.

In a segment filmed for “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” set to air Thursday, Pitt, 47, told host Ellen DeGeneres, “The kids are putting on the heat. They really are.”

Brad and Angelina have been together since 2005 and raise six children – Maddox, 10; Pax, 7; Zahara, 6; Shiloh, 5; and 3-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne, who Brad admits are eager for them to tie the knot.

Of course, Pitt and Jolie, 36, have repeatedly said that they won’t get married until the right to do so is available to everyone.

“We live in this great country that is about freedom,” Pitt said. “It is defined by our freedom and equality and yet we allow this discrimination to go on every day and that’s not what we’re about.”

If gay marriage was to become widely legalized, asked DeGeneres, would the couple get married immediately?

“It seems,” replied Pitt.

Marriage was also the topic during another one of Pitt’s TV appearances this week — but not to Angie.

In an interview with “Today” host Matt Lauer, set to air Thursday, Pitt discussed his recent comments about ex-wife Jennifer Aniston.

Regarding his time with the “Friends” star, Pitt told Parade, “I started to get sick of myself sitting on a couch, holding a joint, hiding out. It started feeling pathetic.”

He went on, “It became very clear to me that I was intent on trying to find a movie about an interesting life, but I wasn’t living an interesting life myself.”

What Pitt said to Lauer is that his words were “misconstrued.”

He said, “I don’t know what was pieced together or put together. All I know is that my point was, the best thing I’d done as a father is be sure that my kids have a good mother.”

Pitt continued, “It has no reference to the past. And I think it’s a shame that I can’t say something nice about Angie without Jen being drug in. You know, she doesn’t deserve it.”
