Rapper Snoop Dogg could soon add sitcom star to his growing résumé.

The rapper/reality TV star is developing a family sitcom at Warner Bros. TV in which he will star as the father.

Snoop (real name Calvin Broadus) has been busy developing other projects, including an American Idol-type reality show that would focus on finding the next hip-hop star.

In addition, Snoop Dogg is also teaming with rapper Wiz Khalfia for the feature film “High School”, dubbed as a ‘comedy stoner movie.’

His TV credits include ‘Doggy Fizzle Televizzle’, a sketch comedy show he produced and starred in for MTV from 2002 to 2003; ‘Snoop Dogg’s Father Hood’, a reality series following his family that ran on E! for two seasons. He also produced ‘Dogg After Dark’, a variety show featuring celebrity interviews and musical performances on MTV.
